Dr. John P. Collins

Department

Dr. Collins has been serving the residents of Howard County and the Baltimore Washington region since 1990. Originally from Lansdale, Pennsylvania he moved to the area completing his residency at the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington, DC. In 1993 he joined the Orthopedic Department of the Columbia Medical Plan. In 1998 he and Dr. Brill opened their practice, Maryland Spine and Sports Medicine, P.C.Dr. Collins has been involved in the community volunteering his time for the Columbia Triathlon, Columbia Association Sports Medicine Clinics and lecturing on running injuries, arthritis and exercise, medical acupuncture and Osteopathic manual medicine.

Dr. Collins has special interests in sports medicine dedicated to improving the health of and medical care for all people who exercise and to promoting well-being and health through an active lifestyle.
